Almighty God, whose kingdom has come with power,
and whose apostles saw its glory in the resurrected One:
Grant that we, who have not seen him but who love him,
may listen to him, taste the death of the old self, and be renewed in witness of him,
the eternal Word made flesh for us and for our salvation,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
